Joshua W. Nehring, DDS
Meet Dr. Nehring
Dr. Joshua W. Nehring graduated in 2011 from Dental School at the Virginia Commonwealth University, located in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated with honors and received the Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology and the Hanau Best of the Best Excellence in Prosthodontics Award. He was the recipient of the Preston D. Miller Sr. Scholarship Award, in addition to the A. D. Williams Student Research Fellowship Award for two years. While in Dental School, Dr. Joshua W. Nehring published an article in the Journal of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Nehring completed Periodontal Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in the Department of Surgical Specialties, at the College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. His training was built on a foundation of traditional periodontal therapy, advanced techniques for soft and hard tissue augmentation, implant therapy, and IV sedation.
He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, and the South Dakota Dental Association.
Joshua was raised surrounded by the mountains of Utah, and has always loved the outdoors. He and his wife Stacy, have five children. He loves spending time with his family either running, biking, hiking, camping, or just being together at home. Joshua and his family are excited to be in Rapid City to follow in the tradition of Dakota Regional Periodontics in their commitment to their family, faith and community.
